Hey All,
Had a cozy little screening in Brooklyn again last night that went very well. Bit of an experiment, in that I showed the shorter, hour version of the film. Seemed to go over even better than the feature version. Typical. Shorter is always better.
Selling DVDs now too, and they're going like hotcakes. Tell you friends and neighbors!

Summer's last hurrah
Hey Kids,
Thanks to all of you who came to last night's outdoor screening of 'Yoga, Inc.'. All in all a very lovely evening. The mosquitoes were pretty serious, but the crowd was even better and really into the film. Audience 1, Mozzies, Nil.
I'm organizing one last neighborhood screening in Brooklyn before I hear about a bunch of festivals (Woodstock, Margaret Mead, etc.). So for those locals still waiting to see the film, it's on next at...
Thurs. July 27th
8.30PM
Smooch Cafe
Carlton and Dekalb
Fort Greene, Bkln
Bye for now...

Thank You
Well, it's been a blur but it's been a blast! Leaving Toronto in about an hour, and sad to go. Last night's screening went very well, even better than Saturday. Another full house and everyone seemed really into it.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see the film, and thanks also to Hot Docs, who have made this a really great experience.
Remember, the Canadian broadcast premiere is coming up in a few weeks, so tell your friends. It's airing Fri. May 4th, Sat. 5th and Sun. 6th, all at 8PM. www.documentarychannel.ca for details, or check my website, www.baddogtales.com.
Thanks everyone!

Happy that's over
Just got back from the World Premiere screening of 'Yoga, Inc.' at the Bloor cinema in Toronto. A great, surreal experience. The film sold out, there was a massive line around the block and once they were inside and watching people laughed and oohed/aahed in all the right place. They even stayed for the Q+A. Can't ask for much more than that!
Another screening tomorrow, Sun. 22nd, and also sold out. So I have my fingers crossed that it will go as well.

Here in Toronto
Hi All,
Arrived yesterday (Apr. 20) in Toronto and dived headlong into a blitz of publicity, doing interviews with the CBC, OMNI media, BNN Business Network (that was a fun one), Star TV, various bloggers, upstarts and Naked Newsmen. I'm like an overgrown child, being sheparded around the city by my 'handlers'. (And great handlers they are at that, so thank you Ingrid and Charlene at GAT Publicity. www.gat.ca).
Hot Docs has been treating me great so far. Opening film was great, party was fun and people seem really jazzed about my film and all the films, in fact. Nice to be around so many people who are all this passionate about docs.
I lived in Toronto many moon ago, for about four months during winter. More snow than an Australian farm boy thought could ever fall in one place. Anyway, the geography is starting to come back to me...
Must dash... Another blogger/reporter awaits...

Getting it together
The world premiere of 'Yoga, Inc.' is coming up in less than a month. (Apr. 21 and 22 at Hot Docs, if you need reminding.) Very exciting. Canadians seem to have really embraced the film and it's now starting to get some real buzz.
Smart, those Canadians.
